Accessibility Statement

The company TATRACHEMA, výrobné družstvo Trnava, with registered office at Bulharská 40, Trnava 917 02, Slovak Republic, Company ID: 31434193 (hereinafter referred to as the “operator”), undertakes to make its website www.tatrachema.com accessible in accordance with Act No. 351/2022 on the accessibility of products and services for persons with disabilities, which transposes Directive (EU) 2019/882 – EAA (European Accessibility Act).

Degree of compliance

This website is partially compliant with Act No. 351/2022 and the standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (equivalent to WCAG 2.2 level AA) due to the non-compliances listed below.

Non-compliant content

• 1.3.1 Information and relationships: In some parts of the website, the heading hierarchy is not fully followed (e.g., skipping levels H2/H3).
  (Such an intervention would require modifying the system template structure, which would affect the design and layout of the content.)
• 1.4.3 Minimum contrast: Some texts and links do not meet the minimum contrast requirement of WCAG 2.1 AA (orange headings, orange text, green headings, green text, white text on green background, white text on orange background).
  (This would require modifying the operator’s graphic identity.)
• 2.4.4 Purpose of links in context: Some links do not have a clear and understandable description of their destination. Missing indication that a link points to a PDF file.
  (Ongoing supplementation of link descriptions; time-consuming to address.)
• 3.3.2 Labels or instructions: Some elements of the newsletter form do not have appropriate labels.
  (These elements are part of an embedded third-party script, which imposes technical limitations.)
• PDF documents: Some PDF documents are not fully machine-readable and do not comply with level AA. Updating all documents would represent a disproportionate burden (§ 7(1)(b) of the Act). If you require a specific document in an accessible format, please contact us.

The operator is aware of these shortcomings and makes reasonable efforts to address them in future system updates. Some elements are currently inaccessible due to technical limitations of the platform or because modifying them would require disproportionate changes to the operator’s graphic identity.

Measures taken

• The entire website has undergone a comprehensive revision including many technical improvements aimed at enhancing usability, readability, navigation, structure, descriptions, and other accessibility elements.
• Installation of the AccessYes widget, which enables adjustments of contrast, font size, and other visual settings.
• We are actively working on gradually removing the listed barriers according to the technical capabilities of the system.

Method of testing and preparation of the accessibility statement

The assessment of the website’s compliance was carried out through self-evaluation in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act) and Act No. 351/2022 using Lighthouse and WAVE tools. No third-party assessment was performed.

The statement was prepared on 20 June 2025.
